Estimator – Packaging & Printing Solutions
Are you an experienced Estimator with a knack for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the packaging and printing industry? We are a mid-sized, family-oriented packaging manufacturer seeking a driven professional to join our estimating team. With upcoming retirements, we’re looking for someone who can step in, hit the ground running, and help drive our business forward.

• Competitive Pay: $70,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately calculate job estimates for customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective quotes
• Research and secure outside costs for dies, materials, and services to build competitive quotes
• Offer suggestions for efficient layouts and production methods to maximize profitability
• Act as a key liaison between the sales team and customers, providing excellent service and clear communication
• Develop strong relationships with clients and internal teams through email and phone interactions
• Continuously evaluate production methods to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Provide support to the sales team and assist with job management as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Previous estimating experience in a packaging, printing, or finishing environment is required
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with die cutting, lamination, gluing, or related printing / finishing processes is preferred
• Education: BS/BA degree is a plus but not required
• Tech Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and other computer systems (experience with a job management system is a bonus)
• Attention to Detail: Strong math skills and an organized, detail-oriented mindset are essential
• Personality: Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong communicator who enjoys building client relationships
