Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate cost estimates for offshore and subsea construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to prepare bid proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to gather necessary cost data.
• Assess project risks and provide cost contingencies where needed.
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor market trends in offshore construction, including material costs, labor rates, and technological advancements.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure estimates align with company financial objectives and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in estimating offshore or subsea construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore infrastructure, subsea installations, and marine operations.
• Proficiency in estimating software (such as Primavera P6, WinEst, or similar tools).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of international offshore construction regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with oil & gas, renewable energy, or deepwater projects.
• Familiarity with contract structures such as EPC, Lump Sum, and Cost-Plus contracts.
• Certifications such as AACE Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or similar.
