Escrow Officer

Escrow Officer for Top Tier Title Company

Our client is seeking a motivated escrow officer with a portable, established book of business to join their escrow team. You'll be responsible for maintaining and growing your existing book of business. Applicants should demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Responsibilities:

• Interact and coordinate Realtors, Loan Officers, Underwriters, Brokers, Buyers, and Sellers
• Review Title Commitments, Lender Instructions, and Purchase and Sale Agreements
• Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions, and comply with all company policies and best-practices
• Monitor progress in compliance with all terms and conditions of Purchase Contracts
• Coordinate the Issuance of Title Policies with the Policy Department
• Prepare and deliver closing statements to buyers, sellers, brokers, agents, and lenders
• Disburse escrow funds accurately and complete all post-closing tasks

Qualifications:

• Prefer college degree or equivalent work experience ? high school diploma required
• 3+ years of escrow closing experience closing residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial transactions
• Must possess a strong understanding of real estate contracts, mortgage loans, title commitments, and title insurance
• Solid knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, the escrow process, legal documents, and real estate property law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient working with escrow / title software

Position is 100% in office, located in the Galleria area. Salary is a base pay ($55k-$95k+ DOE plus commission). Our client offers great benefits, 401k with matching, and profit sharing.
