About the role As an
Equipment Operator , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.
Position Responsibilities: - Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools
- Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers, as necessary
- Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor
- Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas
- Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes: litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention
- Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic
- Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs
- Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
Position Requirements & Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- A minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
- Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

- Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
- Consistently work in various weather conditions
