Description Environmental Scientist/ Project Manager GLE is looking for an Environmental Scientist/ Project Manager in our Ft. Lauderdale office to join our growing team. Job Description: - Perform Phase I/II ESA's, UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments and
general field sampling (soil and ground water) in accordance with FDEP SOP's.
- Prepare technical reports and proposals
- Assist in the preparation of detailed Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), work plans and maps
- Subcontractor management
- Budget management and close interaction with clients
Job Requirements: - BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety
- 3-5 years minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning, and reporting
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
- Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
- Valid driver's license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
