The Environmental Manager will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination of overall project environmental compliance and for implementing environmental policies and procedures. The Environmental Manager must also maintain effective relationships with other business functions, segments, community representatives and regulators.
YOUR IMPACT:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
* Manage processes to comply with the obligations of permits for local, state, and federal regulations.
* Research, develop and improve environmental programs.
* Develop and manage departmental budgets.
* Support business develop initiatives and activities.
* Understand project operations for opportunities to reduce both environmental risks and costs that can be aggressively sought at and proposed.
* Participate and support individual career development for team members including skills training while focusing on continuous improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in related field.
* Five (5) or more years of experience.
* One (1) or more years of management experience.
STAND OUT QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong verbal and written communications skills.
* Demonstrated general awareness and knowledge of major environmental legislation.
