BIM Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a BIM Specialist with 0-2 years of experience to support our engineers team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with BIM coordination, Navisworks, and running clash detections. This role involves setting up BIM drawings for various projects, including laboratories, clean rooms, animal labs, hotels, healthcare facilities, offices, schools, restaurants, multi-family, and government secure facilities. Initially, the position will be in-office for the first 3-6 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid or fully remote setup. Proficiency in Revit is required, and knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
Responsibilities
+ Support engineers by setting up BIM drawings for various projects.
+ Run clash detections and coordinate BIM processes.
+ Test add-ons and workflows.
+ Develop new BIM standards.
+ Work on projects including laboratories, clean rooms, animal labs, hotels, healthcare facilities, offices, schools, restaurants, multi-family, and government secure facilities.
Essential Skills
+ 0-2 years of experience in Revit/BIM.
+ Familiarity with BIM coordination and Navisworks.
+ Ability to run clash detections.
+ US citizenship and ability to pass a federal drug and background check.
+ Willingness and ability to obtain a security clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ No degree required.
+ Background in MEP, Mechanical Contractor, or General Contractor roles.
+ Experience in mechanical design, CAD, and 3D modeling.
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
Work Environment
The position starts with an in-office setup for the first 3-6 months, with the potential to transition to a hybrid (typically 2 days in office) or fully remote arrangement.
