We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled technician to perform fabrication and modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.
What You'll Do: - Innovative Fabrication: Dive into the intricate world of RF microwave hybrid modules. Install connectors, substrates, components, and modules using cutting-edge techniques like paste and sheet epoxies.
- Precision Assembly and Repair: Disassemble, assemble, modify, rework, and repair pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle units rejected by testing, using your keen eye and test failure sheets to isolate and fix problem areas.
- Strategic Planning: Plan your work sequences by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Use measurement equipment (e.g., reticle, drop indicator) to ensure every unit meets our high standards and specifications.
- Collaborative Troubleshooting: Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to perfection.
- Independent Excellence: Showcase your ability to work independently with minimal supervision, bringing your best to every task.
What You Bring: - Electronics Expertise: Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
- Microscope Mastery: Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and use hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools with excellent dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
- Education: High School Diploma required.
Bonus Points For: - Active Secret Clearance
- Mechanical Assembly: Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.
- Military Product Experience: Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
- Soldering Skills: Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001 standards.
