Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrician Entry Level. In this role, you will assist experienced electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to start a career in the electrical trade and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist journeyman electricians with installing electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, fixtures, and panels.
Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand electrical layouts and installation requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical problems and performing repairs as directed by experienced electricians.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Assist with the installation and maintenance of lighting systems, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including cleaning up debris and storing tools and materials properly.
Learn to test electrical systems and components for proper functioning and safety.
Assist in documenting work performed, including completing work orders, time sheets, and inspection reports.
Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical trade.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
No prior experience required; willingness to learn and work under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts is preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with team members and supervisors.
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
