Position Title: Field Electrical Journeyman

What You Will Be Doing

• Install and maintain heavy industrial equipment including 480 volts, motor controllers, switchgear, motors, motor starters, control circuits and PLC's.
• Work integrally with customers and helps to market and develop new work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic test equipment, pipe thread equipment, conduit benders, etc.
• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: objects, materials, controls and tools
• Pull wire and run conduit as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• Must have 2-4 years working as an Electrical Helper/Apprentice/Journeyman
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timeliness of job completion.
• Experience in installing and maintaining heavy industrial equipment including 480 volts, motor controllers, switchgear, motors, motor starters, control circuits and PLC's.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic test equipment, pipe thread equipment, conduit benders, etc.
• Familiar with electrical field concepts, practices and procedures.

Conditions of Employment:

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment:

Role operations primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
