We’re excited to invite an Electrician to join our dynamic team at our Tipton, Indiana location!
What You Will Do:
- Ensure smooth operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC systems.
- Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections, adhering to prescribed guidelines.
- Lead the electrical safety program for our plant maintenance team.
- Troubleshoot and repair any electrical or mechanical issues.
- Follow all quality systems and safety procedures, including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
- Recommend improvements for safety through electrical programs and process changes.
- Serve as the safety program leader.
- Take on various other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
What Skills You Need:
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and the ability to interpret it.
- 2-3 years of Industrial Electrician/Maintenance experience.
- A passion for working on machines and electrical components!
- Excitement for troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
- Ability to climb, work in elevated areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Comfort with technology and good computer skills, including Microsoft Applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
- Willingness to work the hours necessary to support operations.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree in Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
- Journeyman license.
- Experience with work order and part inventory systems.
- Knowledge of Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance of production equipment.
- Experience with E-Maintenance or similar systems.
