Staff Management Group is seeking an Electric Pallet Jack Operator for our client in Mahwah, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate

• $16 / hour

Job Summary

The Electric Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for driving a power pallet jack to build pallet/load according to load sheet, marking load ticket for out-of-stock items, and wrapping pallet when pallet/load is finished.

Job Responsibilities

• Using an electric pallet jack to move items around a warehouse or to delivery pallets 
• Using a pallet jack to build pallets for trucks 
• Moving pallets onto trailers and loading pallets into trucks 
• Stacking and shrink-wrapping pallets to keep them stable 
• Identifying damaged items and reporting shortages or poor quality 
• Adhering to all safety rules and regulations in the facility 
• Turning in paperwork for check before truck loading 
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy 
• Helping other departments with their work as needed 

Job Requirements  

• Must be bilingual - English AND Spanish
• Must have previous experience as an Electric Pallet Jack Operator
• Must have previous experience as a Picker in a warehouse
