DDI Vantage empowers vulnerable children, adults and families to reach their full potential. Serving the community since 1971, this non-profit organization offers Early Intervention, Early Head Start Home-based services and Child Care Partnerships, and Adult and Youth Services programs.
Position Description: The Early Head Start Director oversees the effectiveness of the DDI Vantage Early Head Start (EHS) Program by overseeing the development and enhancement of program services; ensuring high quality service provision through orientation, training, and monitoring; supervising the management staff to ensure the provision of appropriate services to eligible children and their families; and promoting the general strength and growth of the DDI Vantage Early Head Start Program supporting both Home-visitor services for families, and Child Care Partnerships in the community.
Qualifications: The Early Head Start Director must have, at a minimum, a baccalaureate degree and experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management and administration. They must also pass a state and federal background screen, required health screenings, and a motor vehicle records check.
