Job Details - Oversee and manage a team of workers on various restoration projects, ensuring all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Coordinate and supervise activities related to restoration, renovation, excavation, drywall, site work, carpentry, glazing, framing, and demolition.
- Assess damage and develop comprehensive restoration plans, including timeframes, resources, and budget.
- Ensure all restoration work complies with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with clients, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is being carried out to the highest standard.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Liaise with insurance companies, adjusters, and property owners to facilitate claims and ensure all work is completed to the satisfaction of all parties.
- Manage and resolve any issues or delays that may impact the project timeline or budget.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in restoration and renovation.
- Proven experience in managing a variety of restoration projects, including water and fire damage, commercial projects, and remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment required for restoration work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions when necessary.
- Certification or training in restoration, construction, or a related field is highly desirable.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
