Director of Marketing & Sales – Houston, TXOverview:The Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting team is growing, and we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven director of marketing and sales to lead the sales and marketing team and ensure sales revenues meet or exceed goals.
In this role you will be responsible for meeting predefined sales goals by leveraging relationships and technical expertise to drive sales with existing and new clients. Working closely with our teams, you will identify customer needs, provide technical solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets by developing and implementing selling strategies. The ideal candidate has relationships and contacts in the midstream, infrastructure, and renewable markets, a background in engineering, a proven record of accomplishment in technical sales, has excellent leadership and relationship skills, and can seamlessly integrate marketing and sales strategies to achieve our goals.Responsibilities:

  • Sales:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
    • Uncover new opportunities for Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting in existing accounts.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet unique client needs.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Execute effective sales presentations and lead exhibitions and meetings.
    • Ensure a cohesive approach to client acquisition within the sales team.
    • Review specifications and contract documentation for all bids and RFPs.
    • Demonstrate independent action and resourcefulness.
    • Call on Houston based corporate accounts and direct field sales calls.
  • Marketing:
    • Implement marketing strategies to enhance visibility and promote Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting services.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, identify and analyze trends, and identify opportunities for business growth.
    • Create marketing materials to showcase our solutions.
    • Improve and update SISC on-line and social media presence.
  • Customer Service:
    • Foster strong client relationships through regular meetings and problem-solving.
    • Monitor client satisfaction and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Reporting:
    • Provide reliable, real-time forecasts (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
    • Assume responsibility and accountability for Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting sales.
    • Maintain HubSpot CRM.
  • Leadership:
    • Evaluate performance of sales and marketing team.
    • Work with HR to complete performance reviews of sales and marketing team members.
    • Work with CEO and COO to develop commission plans and incentives for goal achievements.
    • Leadership of outside sales and marketing team and hold accountable to meet goals.
    • Oversee estimating and sales team in multiple offices and territories.
Qualifications:
  • BA degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • BS degree in engineering preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience.
  • 5+ years of successful engineering sales experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of I&E experience.
  • Experience with CRM, preferably Hubspot.
  • Market experience in Infrastructure, Midstream, and Renewables space.
  • Existing relationships in target industry accounts above.
  • Proficient in project costing and bidding process.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
