Director of Head Start - Lead the Future of Early Childhood Education at EICAP

Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP) is searching for an inspiring and strategic Director of Head Start to champion our Head Start and Early Head Start programs, ensuring the highest quality early childhood education for the families we serve.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead the strategic direction of Head Start and Early Head Start, ensuring excellence in program operations, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of program leaders and educators, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Expand Head Start services, increasing enrollment and maximizing impact in our communities.
  • Manage multi-million dollar budgets and grant funding, ensuring sustainable financial practices.
  • Build relationships with community partners, government agencies, and funding sources to enhance support for children and families.
  • Ensure adherence to Head Start Performance Standards, state regulations, and EICAP policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of leadership experience in Head Start or a similar program.
  • Experience in staff supervision, budgeting, and grant-funded programs.
  • A visionary leader passionate about early childhood education, family services, and community impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret regulations and develop innovative solutions.

  • Competitive Salary: $79,200 to $86,100 annually, commensurate with experience.
