Swarthmore Pa Monday and Wednesday 12pm-4pm Female Client who likes to get out into the community for activities. CPS MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of elderly or intellectual disabilities/autism and mental health. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Previous experience in personal care or other related fields
High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• At least 1-2 years working with persons with intellectual disabilities/autism and mental health diagnosis
• Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50-75 pounds
• Valid Driver’s License and use of own personal vehicle required
• Must have proficient writing, analytical, presentation and clinical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to utilize critical thinking and judgment to resolve problems and issues independently.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Handle confidential and non-routine information.
• Adapt to ever changing work environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
