Job Summary KXII 12 News, the CBS & FOX affiliate and #1 news brand in the market serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, is looking for an experienced Digital Content Manager to lead daily operations on web, mobile, social, and digital programming, including our CTV desk. Duties and Responsibilities Work with the News Director on the strategic vision for the digital department and platforms, including KXII.com, KXII’s social media accounts, and digital channels. Oversee and successfully expand the digital news desk, social media content, and apps. Analyze data/analytics to improve station success on all platforms. Contribute to digital content by hosting from the CTV desk and writing web stories daily. Develop daily digital coverage plans and special content plans. Perform administrative duties such as weekly scheduling and training new employees. Assist in training and providing valuable feedback for the news team. Collaborate cross‑departmentally and work in a team environment. Update the station’s social media platforms. Answer the news tip hotline. Monitor emergency scanner traffic. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, broadcast media, or a related field. Minimum two years of experience in television news. Previous experience in the digital field is required. High‑level understanding of journalistic ethics. Strong news writing skills (broadcast and digital). Strong video editing skills. Knowledge of AP style. Excellent English language, spelling, and grammar skills. Competent video editor with knowledge of non‑linear programs such as FinalCut, Premiere, Edius, etc. Ability to work independently. Willingness to adjust and excel while working a flexible schedule. Social media savvy. Ability to lead a team to achieve success.
