Description
Strategic Leadership & Planning
•\tDefine and evolve the vision for DAM and PIM systems, including future integrations with web and internal platforms.
•\tAct as the functional product owner, collaborating with IT (who owns the backend) and other stakeholders.
•\tLead one associate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on data and asset strategies.
DAM Oversight
•\tManage the full lifecycle of digital assets (images, videos, documents).
•\tDevelop metadata schemas and taxonomy for improved searchability and organization.
•\tMonitor system performance, user adoption, and enforce best practices for asset usage and rights management.
PIM Oversight
•\tMaintain accurate, consistent product data across all channels.
•\tSupport product content development (descriptions, specs, images).
•\tAlign with marketing, sales, and product development teams on data usage and enrichment.
Process Optimization & Collaboration
•\tWork with IT on backend automation and system enhancements.
•\tUse tools like JIRA, MS Office, and metadata tagging systems to manage workflows.
•\tAnalyze data, support SEO tagging, and contribute to data science initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
•\tBachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or related field.
•\t5+ years of experience in DAM and PIM systems.
•\tStrong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and digital rights management.
•\tExperience with system integrations, API management, and workflow optimization.
•\tExcellent communication, training, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
•\tProject management experience in DAM/PIM environments.
This is a 6 month W2 contract to hire that is looking to pay $45-55 an hour pending experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.50/hr.
