Atlanta Dental Spa is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our lab operations, working closely with our ceramists, and ensuring that high-quality dental products are fabricated and delivered on time. This position requires a combination of technical and administrative skills to maintain an efficient and organized lab space.

Key Responsibilities:

Lab Duties:

• Perform essential lab duties to support daily operations.
• Maintain a clean and functional lab environment.
• Fabricate basic laboratory items, including thermoplastic appliances such as nightguards, bleaching trays, and Essix retainers.
• Complete 3D printing processes, including finishing and curing of printed items.
• Execute basic digital designs, with a focus on nightguards.
• Pack and label cases accurately.
• Assist with office pickups and deliveries for lab cases.
• Collaborate with the ceramist to meet restoration deadlines and support restoration tasks as needed.

Administrative Duties:

• Track inbound and outbound cases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Facilitate communication with out-of-house labs for specialized designs or manufactured work.
• Coordinate with dental offices for case pickups and drop-offs.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a dental lab setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of thermoplastic fabrication, 3D printing, and digital design is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
