At TSI, you will work on real projects and have the opportunity to work alongside engineers, scientists, and other industry professionals. As a data science intern, you will work with cutting-edge technology to enable TSI to deliver applications and services more efficiently. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and build out predictive models and algorithms for various types of applications in R&D, digital solution, and product development areas. If you are someone who loves learning, trying new things, and exploring new technologies, this role is for you. At TSI, you'll be part of a real project, getting real experience! * Identify problems/gaps as well as innovation opportunities that can be solved or enabled by data analytics and modeling * Implement and test models in a proof of concept scale * Application development in the cloud environment Qualifications and Skills: * Working towards a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related major * Training and/or experience in data analytics/science areas, such as time series analysis, forecasting, classification, and regression analysis * Experience with data analytics tools, such as Python and Matlab * Demonstrates eagerness and willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Python scientific stack (NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib, pandas, scikit-learn) * Experience and knowledge of at least one major deep learning framework (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, etc) * Experience writing production code and code review process * Experience with one of the following programming languages: Javascript, C# Here are some of the things our interns have said about their experience at TSI: * I gainedreal, hands-on experience! * I tell my friends what I'm doing for my internship, and they are jealous of the experience I'm getting!!! * The people here are GREAT! * Everyone is really helpful and very nice.
