We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Analytics team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will leverage advanced data science techniques to uncover opportunities for improving customer experiences and driving business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, finance, and senior leadership, to deliver actionable insights and performance analytics. This position offers a unique chance to influence strategic decision-making and contribute to high-visibility projects.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze customer, product, channel, and digital data to identify opportunities for enhancing consumer experiences and delivering customer value.
• Develop and implement data-driven models and experiments to answer complex business questions.
• Conduct research on emerging techniques in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics.
• Create intuitive data visualizations and compelling data stories to communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to align analytics efforts with business objectives.
• Deliver actionable recommendations to product teams and senior leadership based on data analysis.
• Partner with Agile development teams to support projects throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used in analyses and models.
• Stay updated on the latest tools and methodologies in data science and analytics to enhance team capabilities.• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and familiarity with cloud technologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to conduct large-scale experiments and apply advanced analytics methods.
• Knowledge of financial services, payment processing, and digital channels is preferred.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for data storytelling and optimization, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
