Summary

Come join us at Corporate HQ for Summer 2025! Our Data Analytics Internship offers students hands-on, real-world experience within the company over an 10 - 12 week period. Come experience an inside look in the world of Information Techonology, Information Systems, CPG and Food Production.

This position has a target wage of $21.90 - $28.13 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.

What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities

• Work on well-defined projects with clear goals that will require a combination of analytical, technical (programming), quantitative and strong communication skills
• The focus areas will be within the Data Analytics/Business Intelligence/Data Science needs relevant for Perdue Farms business growth 
• Use programming skills, predictive/statistical modeling and analysis to analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data, determine analytical approaches, and evaluate potential outcomes
• Develop dashboards/reports that provide useful insights to business leaders
• Support ad-hoc querying and analyses to understand customer behavior and diagnose data discrepancies
• The ideal candidate would collaboratively work with various stakeholders in an environment that will leverage data, analytics, and data science tools to build insights for our team

Minimum Education

• Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Data Analytics Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics or related majors preferred.
• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher

Experience Requirements

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
• Possess strong analytical, communication and time management skills
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills

Experience Preferred

• 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
• Strongly prefer a master's level candidate with previous professional industry expreince

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
• May need to access files, supplies and equipment. 
• Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
