Corporate Security Officer (Full Time, 1st Shift) Join to apply for the Corporate Security Officer (Full Time, 1st Shift) role at The Home Depot . Position Purpose: Monitor SSC security and assist Home Depot associates with security and safety-related issues. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 6AM to 6PM. Key Responsibilities Patrol the SSC complex and investigate unusual occurrences. Write incident reports on actual or potential loss, and interview victims and witnesses. Respond to emergency situations at SSC Atlanta. Perform security inspection tours; document problems and notify appropriate personnel. Operate the security Control Room. Monitor security checkpoints at SSC and other facilities as directed to screen and control events. Escort associates and visitors to parking facilities as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Details Direct Manager/Direct Reports: No direct reports; typically has some outside contact; follows detailed rules and instructions. Travel Requirements: Less than 10% overnight travel. Physical Requirements: Intermittent physical exertion including walking, standing, lifting, etc. Working Conditions: Indoor environment with possible exposure to dust, fumes, temperature extremes, noise, etc. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older. Legally permitted to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications 3-6 months of experience preferred. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required; no additional education or experience necessary.
