🔎 Role Overview

As a Consumer Loan Officer , you will play a key role in being the first point-of-contact with consumers who have submitted a loan inquiry to HFS for the purpose of financing their home improvement(s). Think mortgage loan officer, but for consumer lending. This position requires strong sales, phone skills and the ability to educate consumers on why HFS is the right choice for them.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Proactive and constant outreach to your assigned consumer ‘leads’ ASAP is a must
• Ask questions and gather information that will help with accurately determining if and how HFS can help your consumers
• Work collaboratively with other departments involved in the lending life cycle as needed to provide our customers with the best service. E.g. working with your loan processors and contractor-facing team members from time-to-time.
• Continuously improve your sales skills with your team leader(s) through coaching, call reviews, and trainings
• Make a high volume of calls, followed secondarily by texts and emails to your customers
