Job Description

We are currently working with a well-established general contractor that is looking to add a Construction Project Manager to their team in the Orange County and Los Angeles area. This individual will play a key role in managing and delivering life science and commercial ground-up construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Lead RFI, submittal, and change order processes and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Proven track record managing life science, biotech, or lab space projects.
• Strong experience with ground-up commercial buildings.
• Knowledge of local codes, permitting, and construction practices in Southern California.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with clean room standards, MEP-intensive scopes, or high-finish environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
