PROJECT MANAGER

$75,000 - $95,000 + Bonus on final performance of project

LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER THAT CAN HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

Our project managers play a crucial role throughout all phases of the construction process. Their involvement often begins during the preconstruction and design phases of our projects, where they work closely with clients, designers, and our estimating team. Once a project enters the construction phase, the project managers take full control, assembling and leading their project teams from groundbreaking to project completion. Our project managers are team players who are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure our projects are successful.


Our mix of work is diverse as is our project size: hospitality, multifamily, retail, healthcare, higher education, and recreation/entertainment, with project sizes up to $100M. Our construction footprint is nationwide.

Job Duties:


Manage construction projects from conception to completion.
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
Manage, track, and report project costs.
Lead project teams through all phases of the construction process.
Coordinate daily with clients, designers, and project teams.
Coordinate and manage project design to ensure the owner's needs and budgets are met.
Assist in creating and submitting project estimates.
Establish and maintain project schedules.
Manage, update, and distribute contract documents.
Study and implement project drawings and specifications.
Select and manage subcontractors and material vendors.
Negotiate and draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
Prepare, coordinate, and track project submittals.
Process owner and subcontractor change orders.
Conduct site inspections to ensure work progresses safely, on schedule, and as designed; travel within or outside of Wichita is required.
Coordinate and lead project meetings.
Review work progress with project team daily.
Provide daily support for field staff.
Communicate, negotiate, and lead.



Required Skills and Experience:


Construction Mgmt. Degree preferred.
Three + years of relevant experience required.
Experience managing projects over $5M range preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Procore (or similar PM platform).
Must be a self-starter who operates independently and thrives in a busy environment.
Strong customer relations skills.
Strong leadership skills.
