Position Summary As a Compensation Analyst II, you'll be a subject matter expert and have a key role on our Global Total Rewards Team. You'll consult with HR and other senior leaders of assigned businesses to align on compensation strategies. Utilizing our Global market pricing tool, you'll make informed decisions on salary, bonus, and equity. You will be responsible for compensation-related projects and delivering compensation services to assigned business organization(s). This position will also be responsible for administering our global long-term incentive program, as well as our employee recognition program. *This position is located onsite in Mentor, Ohio with an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of onboarding plan. What you'll do as a Compensation Analyst II Partner with assigned HR Leaders and managers to deliver compensation services to the global STERIS business enterprise, ensuring alignment with compensation philosophy, policy, and practices. Lead compensation projects including global survey submissions, and compensation studies (e.g. pay equity, job architecture, structure development and implementation, integrations, annual compensation budget development). Model costs and employee impact analysis and drive implementation of approved changes. Collaborate with equity team members to maintain our equity administration platform to ensure the accuracy and integrity of STERIS equity data including eligibility, approvals, processing stock option and restricted stock unit awards, exercises, vestings and settlements. Assist in the administration of assigned compensation programs including global stock plan administration and global employee recognition. Evaluate positions for grade placement based on the content of the job and various salary survey sources ensuring that all relevant factors have been addressed such as geographic differences, and age of data. Compile, analyze and interpret data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Serve as internal compensation subject matter expert and educate and inform the organization about STERIS compensation policies and practices. Make recommendations based on internal and external sources/best practice. Advise managers and HR on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with budgetary guidelines. Conduct periodic audits of Compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist with special research and keep current on regulatory changes as needed. The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required: Bachelor's degree with 3 years compensation experience or 6 years compensation experience with Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) in lieu of degree. Preferred: Experience managing Company global mobility processes or programs preferred. Experience with job architecture framework projects. Skills: In depth knowledge of compensation theories and practical applications is required. Advanced spreadsheet and database capabilities are required. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills are required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required. Ability to manage ambiguity, inform and influence while working well with others in a collaborative team environment.
