Come join our team! We are hiring Commercial Service Technicians. Commercial Service Technicians provide regular maintenance and repairs for the efficient operation of HVAC and Refrigeration systems. Technicians are also responsible for performing routine inspections, cleanings, and adjustments to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Requirements for this role include:
• 3 years of experience within the HVAC trade, repairing and maintaining equipment. Also proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• In depth knowledge of various HVAC equipment, including electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills for equipment like rooftops, VRF systems, kitchen equipment, etc.
• CFE license or other manufacturer’s certifications.
• Ability to use an iPad or laptop for electronic documentation.
• Must have superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to understand and manage job deadlines
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Physical agility, dexterity, and ability to work in confined spaces, uneven work spaces, frequently climb ladder, and work from various heights.
• HS Diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required for this role as a company vehicle may be assigned to you.
This position is based at our HQ in Sterling, VA. This role will also require travel to work sites in the DMV area, which can be up to 100% of the role.
