What You Can Expect Working in the Commercial Real Estate Agent (Independent Contractor) Position

Lange Real Estate has a great opportunity for an ambitious commercial real estate agent who has a successful track record of sales and satisfied clients. This person will be a part of a talented and driven team that thrives in a fast-paced, diverse environment and demonstrates initiative for creating new opportunities and driving forward existing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Performs the preparation duties and showings of commercial properties, for sale and/or for lease.
• Reviews and prepares real estate contracts.
• Integrates commercial marketing of properties in Crexi and other Real Estate systems and software.
• Performs sales techniques to be able to convert a lead to a sale or lease.
• Manages commercial property sales from beginning-to-end, ensuring positive client experience.
• Serves as main point of contact between property owners and prospective buyers.
• Assists landlords and owners in promoting their properties for sales, providing expertise and advice to clients.
• Negotiates and prepares relevant paperwork (contracts, leases) prior to sale of commercial property.
• Performs comparative market analysis to accurately value commercial properties.
• Conducts research of the local real estate market and stays up to date on industry trends.
• Advises clients in the development and execution of their real estate investment strategies.
• Prospects new client relationships and network with other industry professionals.
• Partners closely with other team members to ensure knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the local commercial property market.
• Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong ability to multitask, solve problems creatively and bounce back quickly from rejection.
• High levels of personal responsibility, honesty, and empathy.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Financially capable of personal support between the time frame of closing/commission income (1099 position).

As a self-employed, 1099 Independent Contractor providing real estate services for Lange Real Estate and it’s clients, you will be responsible for your own tax obligations. Actual earnings may vary depending on opportunity. Independent Contractors are responsible for expenses and control their own profit and loss.
