First Merchants Bank is seeking a Commercial Appraisal Review Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the consistency and efficiency of the commercial appraisal review process. Essential duties include intake appraisal requests from lending partners, creating review tasks and deadlines in the system, preparing appraisal tasks for bid solicitation, coaching lending partners on system requirements, overseeing workflow process, communicating with lending partners, serving as the point person for appraisal and system process questions, escalating questions to teammates when appropriate, documenting in system files, retrieving appraisal reports, disseminating appraisal reports, and managing the appraisal invoicing and payment processes. To be successful, we require a bachelor's degree, a minimum of one year administrative experience or related, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of real estate appraisal terms and concepts, working knowledge of the appraisal review process, and prior experience with appraisal ordering and management platforms are a plus.
