Join Purdue University Fort Wayne: We are currently seeking a full-time and onsite
College Success Coach in our Enrollment Management and Student Experience department. This position plays a pivotal role in advancing educational and career prospects for 21st Century scholars, grant recipients, minority students, and other low-income and first-generation students. This position is grant funded and employment is contingent on continued grant funding. The annual salary for this position is $46,999.92
Primary Responsibilities: - Engage, support, and retain PFW's priority student population through targeted efforts to increase enrollment and degree completion amongst this student population.
- Implement retention programs, initiatives, and targeted communications tailored to the priority student population.
- Provide expert analysis of data related to student retention and success.
- Maintain and update student tracking database and files.
- Develop and distribute a variety of data reports specific to the priority student population.
- Plan and coordinate an annual 21st Century Scholars Day event to raise awareness and enrollment in the program.
- Implement a summer bridge program for priority student populations.
- Assist with new student orientation, admissions events, and other transition programming.
- Serve as a liaison for the priority student population.
- Represent the needs and interest of priority student populations at enrollment and campus events.
- Foster a culture that values diversity and inclusivity by implementing initiatives that support underrepresented and marginalized student populations.
Required Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in student success coaching, advising, or related roles within higher education.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in database management and student information systems.
- Understanding of financial aid processes and college admission requirements.
