Summary

The Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine is looking to recruit a an enthusiastic and reliable Clinical Research Associate for day to day administrative support for Dr.Mohamed Othman. The candidate will be located at McNair Campus and work alongside the Principle Investigator and research team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to visitors. The position is Monday to Friday, full time with 40 hours weekly.

Job Duties

• Collects study infromation in non-therapeutic and therapeutic studies. 
• Collects information; processes documents and enters information into a database. 
• Collect, process, ship, and maintain paperwork in study protocol.
• Maintains appropriate documentation. Tracks IP compliance at the protocol-and subject level. Independently maintain appropriate study-level documentation including regulatory binders, enrollment logs, patient registration in the system of record, etc.
• Plan and schedule upcoming research visits for study subjects, according to protocol requirements. 
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial aspects of clinical research and prior experience in using red cap database.
