Description: Infectious disease studies (wont be coming in contact with infectious patients, but might be working on specimens) Some projects coming up:

• This is an industry-funded study. TA: fungal (aspergillus)
• Lab recruitment in the fall

Pasadena is the main hub (LAMC, Downey, Baldwin Park) Ideal scenario: lab, chart review, recruitment, etc. if they are well rounded, can put them on more studies, give them more flexibilities It is okay if they dont have lab experience, as long as they are willing to learn. Can train them to process specimens (blood, urine, etc.) Will start with chart review, then when other studies get funded their time Data entry Systems: going into the sponsors portal (maybe Redcap or something similar) and enter the data into certain fields KP uses EPIC Additional Skills & Qualifications: Must Have License & Certifications Bachelor's Degree Required Phlebotomy Experience Needed BLS : Achieved Date(No Value)Expiration Date(No Value) Experience Level: Entry Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
