Your Responsibilities - What You Will Do

• Safely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs using a company-assigned car hauler.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of vehicles to support inventory movement and uphold customer satisfaction.
• Operate equipment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cleanliness, maintaining a well-kept truck and trailer.
• Comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations and CarMax policies, including thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Represent CarMax with professionalism and integrity when interacting with vendors, store associates, and the general public.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid state-issued commercial driver's license Class A (CDL) required.
• 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience required; military (Heavy/Medium Tactical Vehicle) driving experience accepted.
• If you do not have Class A CDL experience but are a current CarMax associate, you can apply under specific conditions.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years.
• Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.
• Proficient in lifting heavy objects and winching transported vehicles during loading.
• Experience in operating a 10-speed transmission.
• Open to working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills.
