Job Description: ILLINI Environmental is currently seeing highly motivated Class A CDL Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. ILLINI has invested in new equipment and technology to ensure our drivers have the best tools available to serve our customers. Our fleet averages 2019 and newer with new equipment being added annually. Drivers average 40+ hours a week with overtime hours paid at time and a half with most evenings and weekends at home. Report any deficiencies to full-time mechanic staff for repairs. Comply with federal, state and local rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, retain fuel/toll receipts, incident/accident reports as necessary. Complete pre-printed shipping documents in an orderly manner. Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, courteous manner, and interact directly with customers/staff in a customer service-oriented manner. Qualifications & Skills: Valid Class A CDL driver's license. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willing to obtain both post-employment). 2 years verifiable experience and at least 23 years of age. Safe and verifiable driving history with no significant recent violations. Ability to pass Company physical and alcohol/drug screenings. Working knowledge of federal, state and local rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc). O6 Environmental LLC
