Description/Responsibilities:
We are a supplier of high purity chemicals for silicon wafer and electronics manufacturing seeking full time employment of Production/Material Handlers for our manufacturing plant in NW Portland.
-Work in clean room environment with level B suit.
-Package and blend chemicals to exacting customer standards by following SOPs.
-Label and clean packages in preparation for clean room entry.
-Operate forklift to stage finished goods and empty containers.
-Must be safety oriented.
-We will train the right candidate.

Physical Demands: While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to do some or all the following: standing for extended periods; walk; sit; talk; hear; use hands to handle or control objects; reach with arms. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Warehouse Chemical Handler Requirements and Qualifications
o High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
o Must be able to pass pre-employment background check (No Felonies) / drug screen (No recreational drugs)
o Reliable Transportation is required
o Must read and speak English
o Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
o Physically and mentally fit
o Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. at a time
o Physical stamina, able to work long hours on one’s feet
o Ability to wear and carry respiratory gear
o Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
o High level of composure and good stress management
o Participate in safety meetings
o Be available for overtime when it is necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $24.50 per hour
Shift hours: 5:00am-1:30pm for training (8-hour shift + 30 minute lunch)
Starting Jan 6 shift will be 1:00pm-9:30pm
Monday - Friday
Overtime is almost always available.
