Chemical Operator

$20.00/Hour

12 Hour, Rotating/Swing Shift

8AM-8PM, 8PM-8AM

Franklinton, NC

As a Chemical Operator, you will function as a key team member in finding biological solutions to the world's problems.

We are seeking detail-oriented team players for full-time Chemical Operator openings at a leading biotech manufacturing company in Franklinton, NC

This position requires the willingness and ability to work a 12-hour rotating/swing shift.

Pay will be $20.00\Hour.

Job Duties:

Prepare raw materials for process equipment and operate all process equipment.
Take sterile production samples. Analyze samples in the production lab and take action based on obtained results.
Complete log sheets and other data sheets neatly and accurately, as required. Notify the Supervisor of all errors, irregularities, equipment problems, etc.
Work safely and maintain a neat and clean appearance in the production area in accordance with good manufacturing practice with the company.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required. Prior Bio-tech classes with a local community college a plus
Must be able to pass a background test, drug screen and pre-employment physical.
Must be able to operate process equipment.
Must have great attention to detail and an excellent safety record.
Must be able to lift raw materials in bags weighing 40 pounds.
Must be able to operate forklift within department safely and complete forklift training within the first 30 days.
Production operators must not have facial hair which impedes their ability to
adequately use respiratory equipment.
