CDL A Route Driver Airgas is hiring for a CDL A Route Driver in London, KY. Competitive pay range of $24.00 min to $26.00 max per hour. Driver Incentive Plan (earn up to $10,500.00!). Forklift Training and Certification provided. HazMat preferred (60 day window to obtain for the right candidate). Monday-Friday, start time 7am - Home Daily. Benefits Eligibility: 30 days. Job Responsibilities Operates a Class A or B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Collects empty cylinders from customers. Records transactions and obtains signatures. Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction. Handles loading/unloading. Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance. Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Class A CDL. Must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of being hired. Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check. DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required. Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs. Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures. Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace. Adherence to safety regulations and policies. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Forklift Experience. Touch freight delivery experience.
