Join our team as a Local Truck Driver CDL A with a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus! We are a reputable company based in Whitestown, IN, providing fresh produce and products to restaurants since 1982. We are actively seeking motivated individuals for our route delivery teams as we expand our market presence.

Compensation:

• Average annual salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000.
• Hourly wage at $28.00 per hour.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus distributed as $1,250 each quarter.
• Overtime pay available after 40 hours per week.
• Typical hours range from 40 to 50 per week.

Work Schedule:

• Work a 4-day week from Sunday to Friday, with Saturdays off.
• Enjoy two weekday nights off, typically Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Start times typically between 7 PM and 10 PM; complete shifts lasting about 10-12 hours.
• No layovers—you'll be home every day!
• Make 3-7 stops daily.
• Flexibility is key, as shift demands may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle 400-900 cases daily in a physical environment.
• Work in refrigerated and outdoor conditions year-round.
• Secure loads thoroughly before and after deliveries.
• Deliver food-grade products to specified locations.
• Operate a CDL A day cab with 36'-42' pup trailers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and manage hours of service.
• Deliver excellent customer service and report vehicle maintenance issues.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No prior CDL experience necessary; new graduates are welcome to apply!
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License from Indiana required.
• Current DOT Medical Card and able to pass drug and criminal background screenings.
• Preferred experience with local, multi-stop delivery using handling equipment.
• Physical stamina for various conditions; able to lift, push, and pull 65 pounds.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
