Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. This role involves sourcing capacity to fulfill shipping obligations, negotiating deals with transportation companies, and collaborating closely with internal account managers to ensure our customers receive the best service possible. You will be responsible for tracking shipments, maintaining communication with all parties, and proactively managing assigned shipments and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and receive calls to negotiate deals with transportation companies.
- Work with internal account managers to find optimal shipping solutions for our customers.
- Provide timely updates on service and shipment status.
- Track shipments to ensure smooth delivery and provide top-tier customer service.
- Act as the sole service provider for assigned shipments and accounts, proactively managing every step of the process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage several accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
