Position: Call for Proposal Writers and Reviewers Location: Global Job Id: 2617 # of Openings: 1 URC is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join a roster of proposal writers and proposal reviewers to support ongoing and upcoming funding opportunities. We seek skilled experts who can contribute to developing high-quality proposals and reviewing submissions to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Proposal Writers Reviewing solicitation documents (RFP, RFQ, grant calls) and understanding technical and compliance requirements. Coordinating with subject matter experts, program staff, and partners to design URC's solution and gather technical/managerial inputs. Drafting technical narratives and annexes in alignment with donor guidelines. Ensuring proposals are coherent, persuasive, technically sound, and responsive to evaluation criteria. Incorporating reviewer feedback and making revisions before submission. Proposal Reviewers Conducting a compliance check against donor requirements and internal guidelines. Providing constructive feedback on technical approach, methodology, work plan, management, and personnel sections. Assessing clarity, logic, and persuasiveness of the proposal. Identifying risks and gaps in proposal content. Recommending adjustments to strengthen the proposal and maximize competitiveness. Qualifications Proposal Writers Demonstrated track record designing and writing successful proposals for a selection of the following donors: US Government agencies (including U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, and other USG entities) Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Multilateral development banks (e.g., World Bank, Asian Development Bank [ADB], Inter-American Development Bank [IDB]) United Nations agencies (e.g., UNICEF, WHO, WFP, UNRWA, UNHCR) The Global Fund U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) Excellent writing, editing, and research skills. Familiarity with donor-specific templates and compliance requirements. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Exceptional time management and ability to deliver under tight deadlines. Proposal Reviewers Proven experience writing and reviewing donor-funded proposals from a selection of the agencies listed above. Knowledge of proposal evaluation criteria and scoring methodologies.
