Temp to Perm Duration: 6 months (1040 hours)

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems, data center infrastructure, fiber optics, and security systems. This role requires flexibility, as work may involve reporting directly to job sites or our Indianapolis office, depending on the project’s needs and the technician’s location.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber optics)
Set up and maintain data center infrastructure
Install and configure security systems, including cameras and access control
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cabling and network systems
Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
Adhere to safety protocols and participate in a mandatory 1-hour safety meeting on the first day

Requirements:

Experience in structured cabling, data centers, fiber optics, and security systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Availability for a 1-hour safety training meeting on the first day

Tools/PPE:

All necessary tools and full PPE will be provided.
