We operate across neighborhoods, communities, schools, and centers, offering a passionate and integrated approach to support, including speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, psychological services, and more. We currently serve thousands of children throughout Detroit, Southeast, and West Michigan.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager / Executive Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting the CEO and administrative team with various tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a high level of professionalism, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management:
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage office protocols, procedures, and supplies.
  • Handle phone systems, direct calls, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Assist with accounts receivables, deposits, and basic financial tasks.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our on-site clinic, including managing schedules, patient communications, and supplies.
  • Executive Support:
  • Manage calendars and schedules for the CEO and executive team.
  • Coordinate and plan meetings, office events, and special projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and staff, clients, and external partners.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Foster positive relationships with staff, clients, patients, and vendors.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
  • Support the development and maintenance of community partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Proven experience in office management, executive support, or a similar role, preferably in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Google Workspace.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in event planning and preparation.
  • Familiarity with clinical charting software and medical billing processes.
  • Experience in non-profit or healthcare environments is a plus.
