Chenega Professional & Technical Services, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a Business Analyst for a software application development project with the Department of Energy’s (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). In this role, the Business Analyst  will support the development, deployment, enhancement, and maintenance of the Clearance Action Tracking System (CATS).

Responsibilities

  • Build fully operational applications following a standard prescribed methodology that ensures stringent process management, quality assurance, configuration management, and security conformance control.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team processes and efficiency of the application through contributing to all Agile ceremonies including (but not limited to) Scrum, Review, and Retrospective.
  • Provide maintenance and enhancement services including modernization and feasible customization of business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair customized production applications with requirements analysis, quality assurance testing and updated documentation.
  • Conduct all maintenance and enhancement efforts following a standard prescribed methodology that ensures stringent project management, quality assurance, configuration management, and security conformance controls.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOE “Q” Security Clearance. Applicant will be subject to a US Government investigation.
  • 4-6 years of ASP.Net, SQL Server experience.
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development and CI/CD principles.
  • Ability to perform effectively as part of a fast-paced mature project team.
  • Willingness to acquire new skills and master new technologies quickly is required, while a demonstrable eagerness to do so is better still.
  • Knowledge of working in Iterative Agile software development environments is favorable.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently and possess strong communication skills.
