We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client in Westerville, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in financial record management and reconciliation. The role will involve maintaining accurate financial records while supporting key accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable reviews, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Handle month-end closing activities, including preparing financial reports.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and organize financial data efficiently.

• Provide support for tax preparation tasks as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting and financial management.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ability to perform month-end closing activities with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting tax preparation is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
