Billing/Title Clerk - Mathews Nissan/Honda of Paris We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team. As a Billing Clerk, you'll be responsible for processing titles, registrations, and ensuring car deals have all the necessary documentation. Job Responsibilities - Must have prior experience
- Processes new car and pre owned registrations on dealer's software system within two business days of the deal date.
- Keep a log of unwinds and prior month adjustments
- Claim manufacturer rebates.
- Review deals for proper paperwork and return to F&I if needed.
- Overnight contracts that are not e-contracted
- Register/cancel all finance and insurance products.
- Processes pre-owned vehicle title transfers
- Prepares and distributes title envelopes
- Maintains follow-up on all incoming titles
- Maintains and reconciles schedules for tax, title and license payable and lien payoffs
- Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Controller
- Maintains error logs
- Reconciles inventory schedules as assigned on a weekly and monthly basis
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
