Job Description
A company in Hauppauge, NY is looking for a Billing Specialist to join their team! This is a temp to perm position and will be part of the Accounting Department, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor. The Billing Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring all work order billing documents are processed in accordance with client requirements and company policy. Responsibilities
•Review and approve invoice PM drafts submitted by other Billing Specialists, up to assigned limits.
•Review all vendor documents and draft work order invoices for assigned clients.
•Escalate work orders as needed to appropriate department/account manager to resolve issues in a
timely manner.
•Submit client invoices/batches as scheduled for each client.
•Monitor system work order boards to ensure every work order is billed in a timely manner.
•Generate daily call list to ensure streamlined workflow.
•Ensure all in progress work is processed within client deadlines.
•Reviews, revises, and maintains all documented procedures for the position.
•Train and support Billing Assistants as directed by Accounting Supervisor.
•Special projects/tasks as assigned by Accounting Supervisor.
