ResponsibilitiesGreeting guests: Welcome guests to the taproom and make them feel comfortable Taking orders: Accurately take orders for food and drinks, and check back with guests Serving beer: Pour beer and serve it to guests in accordance with alcohol service guidelines Handling payments: Process payments and tender change Maintaining cleanliness: Keep the taproom clean, including tables, kegs, and taps Educating guests: Share knowledge about the brewery and craft beer industry Managing inventory: Ensure kegs, merchandise, and packaged products are consistently stocked Opening and closing: Set up and close down the taproom, including opening and closing kegs Handling special requests: Communicate with management to address issues and special requests Skills Customer serviceCommunication skillsAttention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move heavy equipment, including full beer kegs, which can weigh up to 160 poundsBeertenders will be required to work weekends and evening shifts.
