Beer Ambassador

Outgoing Beer Pourer and Evangelist

Must have:

• Appreciation for craft beer.
• Feeling of well-being and confidence when around others and good beer.
• Ability to communicate description of multiple beer styles and flavors.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to be present in age 21+ venues and establishments.
• Ability to lift a case of beer and a 10 lb bag of ice repeatedly.
• Ability to work 4-8 hours per week.
• Availability to cover at least one shift per week

Duties:

• Work with the Lift Bridge Marketing & Sales Teams to be a direct connection to the consumer at various beer-centric tasting events.
• Travel to tasting events around the Twin Cities to pour beer for a variety of consumers for time periods of 1-6 hours.
• Attend educational seminars and training sessions about beer, also potentially taking online courses, such as Cicerone training program. Set-up event and tasting booths, subsequently disassemble event and tasting booths, at some specific larger events.
• Opportunity to work in the Brewery and Taprooms for Tour help and Events such as release parties.
• Attend alcohol awareness training for safe service certification yearly.
• Smile and talk beer.

Particulars: $15/hr with an incentive program, beer and merch program.

We are looking for someone who lives primarily in the Southern and Western suburbs of the Twin Cities to cover tastings in those areas in particular. Shifts will start at 5:00 pm on Thursday and Fridays, and will vary more on Saturdays, but will typically start at 3:00 pm. Lift Bridge Brewery
